A message from your 44th Mayor, Gil Raman
There exist only so many words to express my gratitude to my supporters, family, friends, and colleagues. But I must say it again; thank you for choosing for a greater LS. It's an honor to serve you and fellow Santonos, and I'll make it worth your while.
My journey to the Los Santos City Government started as a young boy from the State of Gujarat in India. My parents were political activists, fleeing from our country to avoid political repercussions. We landed in the United States in the 70s, and our family worked hard to build a business and buy a home, the American Dream. As a teenager, I joined debate groups, participated in demonstrations and politics, and became an activist myself. I got educated, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education, and a Master's of Business Administration from USALS. From there began my over 35-year span of public service in education and government, which continues to this day.
And still, my passion for strong, safe, equitable communities has never waned. My team and I are mission-driven - and we are determined in our work to ensure that the people of Los Santos are guaranteed responsible government and innovation. I want to assure the citizens of Los Santos that our administration is an incredible team of dedicated public servants who work for you (not the other way around) to build Los Santos into an even greater city of entertainment, good living, and success.
Stay safe,
Gil Raman
